Abu Rashid

Location: Island located north of the Musandam Peninsula which is 46.9 nm @ 194 degrees from Dibba Port of Oman

Type of Dive Site: Combination of wall and sloping coral reef

Depth: 5 – 40+

Marine Life: The most common seen in the area are Fusiliers, Turtle, Eagle Ray, King Fish and if you are lucky you might see a White Tip Shark as well. Beautiful purple soft corals are in abundance here

Remarks: Strong currents are present during tidal movements (high and low tide). Extreme care must be taken when diving this site and having a guide with you is highly recommended here
