PADI 5-STAR

We’re in the throws of an extremely busy weekend here at Sheesa Beach, but we wanted to touch base and let you know what’s happening here.

As you’ve realised by now our new website is live and we’ll be running the blog from here moving forward. We hope you enjoy the new experience!

Most of you will know by now that Neil is on leave, we needed to take a second to make mention of him though. We spend so much time investing in our clients that we sometimes fail to acknowledge the achievements that we have in-house. Neil recently took some long overdue time to focus on his own certifications and it’s with great joy that we congratulate him on the achievement of his PADI IDC Staff Instructor status. Well done Neil, good work!

We’re also extremely proud to announce that we’re now a fully accredited PADI 5-Star Dive Resort. It’s taken some serious leg-work in the background to make this happen and we’re very excited about the step up! It’s worth mentioning that it’s not only the Sheesa team that have been sweating to achieve this; we need to thank Teo and his team at PADI for assisting us in the upgrade process. We appreciate your work and your support Teo, we’re looking forward to the the big things that are to come with PADI.

This weekend sees the start of the Project AWARE; AWARE week! We’re running clean-up operations into the Musandam in a bid to do our part for this great international movement. We’ve been blown away by the response we’ve had from our clients, staff, partners and friends. We’re fully booked, not only for this weekend, but also for the next. Seeing our fleet at maximum capacity is always good for us; but it’s particularly warming when it’s for such a great cause. To those of you who are managing to join us over the AWARE week, we thank you! For those of you who were unable to join us, we have an array of events coming in the following weeks and months, we hope we’ll see you here soon!

You can always follow the ongoings and upcoming Sheesa Beach events on our social media and website, but in the meantime allow us to quickly go over a few of the forthcoming events.

We’re running our next live-aboard sharing safari from the 4th to the 6th of October 2018. We’ve sold out the last few trips early and this one is looking to go the same way fast. Please give Cecil a shout on diving@sheesabeach.com to guarantee your spot.

Plans and preparations for the PINK day of diving with Brest Friends and the Al Jalila Foundation are well underway! Once again we’re receiving bookings for this daily and there are a limited number of spaces left. Let Cecil know asap if you’d like to be a part of this special day, it’s going to be one for the books.

That’s it for this week. Keep an eye on our social media to see how the AWARE week goes! We’re also arranging something different for the end of October which will be of interest to those of you who spend a lot of time here. We’ll share the details as soon as we have all of the plans worked out. It’ll be beneficial to you not to miss this one!

Have a good week and we’ll chat again soon!
